There is a new J-Blockbuster short movie coming in September, “Ramly At War Begins” and here is the official trailer. YIF had the pleasure doing the music and sound design for the trailer.

I recently built a shoulder mount and took my rig out for testing. I didn’t really intend to make much out of the footage, it was only meant for evaluating the shoulder mount but a discussion on dvxuser.com inspired me to transform the shot video to emulate the old 8mm film look. Here is the outcome.

Well, we didn’t get an award this year but we got into the finals so that should count for something. At least we had lots of fun at the after parties. Since we didn’t plan Kowloon Story to be submitted to ISHK we were kind of handicapped. But hold on to ISHK 2010, now that we know : )

Two very unfortunate deaths have occured on 25th June 2009. Actress Farrah Fawcett and King of Pop Michael Jackson both died yesterday, long before their time.
